SUMMARY:Vinyl Thursday: Tribute to Quincy Jones
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to an evening dedicated to the enduring legacy of the South Side’s own Quincy Jones. The focus is not just on the music but also on the connections ihe made along the way as aproducer. As we pay homage to Q’s influential role as a producer, arranger, and mentor, we invite you to join us for a night of camaraderie and shared appreciation for the artists whose careers he helped shape. In addition to producing three of Michael Jackson’s best-selling solo albums—Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), and Bad (1987)—Quincy Jones has produced for an impressive list of notable artists during his career, including Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Rufus & Chaka Khan and the Brothers Johnson. This tribute to Quincy Jones is a testament to music’s enduring power to unite people.\nVinyl Thursdays on the Patio at N.O.B. are hosted by DJ John Dreznes from Beverly Records.\n
